The automatic dampening system ensures the adjustment of the water flow to be added to the cereal in order that during the grinding, it has an optimal humidity point to guarantee high yield values of the finished products.

Description

The machine is mechanically assembeld in such a way as not to obstruct the flow of the product by providing a continuous measurement of humidity and flow rate in real time. In addition to the microwave sensor for calculating humidity, the group of sensors also includes a temperature probe for corrections due to temperature variations and a load bin for calculating the flow rate of the product passing through the machine.

The regulation of the water flow, therefore of the final humidity of the cereal, takes place through a wetting system consisting of a motorized valve, a water flow meter and a series of accessories (valves, pressure reducers, variable area flow meter) placed on a panel positioned near the damping screw.

Inside the machine there is a PC that manages the dampening process and the user interface.

It acquires five signals: product temperature, product humidity, product weight flow, water volume flow, product flow in front of the sensor.

It also controls the process by controlling and diagnosing the status of the actuators that allow flow regulation. An LCD touch screen display allows the real-time display of the process signal values, the setting of the adjustment parameters and the execution of the various calibration procedures.
